The LS10P Electrosurgical Generator is a high-frequency energy platform that brings vessel sealing, bipolar coagulation and bipolar cutting together in one compact unit. Designed for open, laparoscopic and minimally invasive procedures, it delivers controlled bipolar RF energy through compatible forceps and sealing instruments, giving surgeons a single, reliable source of advanced haemostasis.
The LS10P seals arteries, veins and tissue bundles up to 7 mm in diameter. By combining precisely controlled bipolar energy with mechanical jaw compression, it denatures and fuses the collagen and elastin within the vessel wall, creating a permanent translucent seal without carbonisation. A real-time feedback loop continuously measures tissue impedance and automatically ends the cycle once sealing is complete — typically within seconds — removing guesswork and helping to shorten operative time.
Key benefit: Permanent vessel occlusion with minimal thermal spread to surrounding tissue, ideal for delicate dissection close to nerves, ureters and other critical structures.
1. Vessel Sealing Mode — Purple indicator
For permanent haemostasis of vessels and tissue bundles ≤ 7 mm. The dedicated sealing port automatically recognises the connected sealing instrument and applies the correct sealing algorithm.
2. Bipolar Coagulation Mode — Blue indicator
Low-voltage, spark-resistant coagulation for delicate tissue desiccation. Reduces sticking and charring, with limited lateral thermal effect — well suited to neurosurgery, ENT, ophthalmology and fine laparoscopic work.
3. Bipolar Cutting Mode — Yellow indicator
Controlled bipolar cutting across a range of tissue types, enabling precise dissection and haemostasis without changing instruments.
The LS10P is built around a closed-loop feedback system. When an instrument is connected to the dedicated port, the generator identifies the accessory type and selects the appropriate output mode. During activation, it monitors tissue impedance thousands of times per second and modulates power delivery to hold the tissue in the optimal temperature window. Once proteins in the vessel wall are fully fused, energy delivery stops automatically and an audible signal alerts the surgeon. The result is a consistent, repeatable seal with limited collateral thermal damage.
